Gallon conversion chart

Common gallon amounts shown in quarts, pints, cups, and fluid ounces.

How to use a conversion chart well

  1. Read the complete unit label. “US liquid pint” and “Imperial pint” are not interchangeable.
  2. Find a row near your amount. Multiply or divide the row if your exact amount is not listed.
  3. Estimate direction before accepting the answer: smaller units should produce a larger count.
  4. Use the volume converter when you need a value that the chart does not show.

Print tip: every chart page removes navigation, controls, decoration, and advertising when printed.
